I was on the patio at Ollies bargain retail store in Fredericksburg Virginia store number is number 24. I was bending over to pick a dog treat off a pig and when I came back up my head hit the corner of you all shelf.

I came to check out with my items. I told Patty the cashier what happened? She called for an ad manager but I did not get a manager. I got another employee that just worked there.

The manager refused to come up to the front The manager that was called was named Jeff . I was seeing at urgent care in Fredericksburg, I did talk to one associate first named Dan the manager would not come up when the cashier called the manager. They gave me Dan to talk to first I left out of the store came back in and I talked with Mike the store manager he did an incident report, but he was very rude to me And was very agitated about me coming in the store because I had an accident so if you can please contact me ASAP 678-749-****. Hot Springs. Location: After seeing the sales flyer I went to the noted location in hopes of picking up the reciprocating saw made by hart.

The first time we went, we were told that the truck had not been unloaded, even though the circular was out. I went back a second time and could not locate the item. I waited in line to pay for some other items. I didnt ask the cashier if she knew where the saws were located, she said no.

I paid for my items and then asked her to page the store manager. She informed me that he was not available and was having a discussion with another cashier in his office. I asked her to page him anyway she became frustrated, crumbled up the fire in front of me and threw it on the ground, and then paged another associate, who fortunately was only 15 feet behind me I asked disassociate where the saws were located. She pointed in the general direction and I informed her that they were not there.

She then told me to come back Sunday and perhaps the truck would be unloaded. She was very helpful and was very nice. I had driven 30 miles just to pick up the saw, and I can understand the fact that they were all sold out, but the fact they were not unloaded from the truck.

It did not make sense, and on top of this the associate at the register was terribly rude, not only how she addressed me how she crumbled up the flyer in front of me and threw it on the ground. Looking at the information on the receipt the sales associate name was Angela this purchase took place on March 22, 2024

At my previous visit on 2/21/2024 I was walking towards the checkout with my family. We passed by a Manager & Employee leaning on a display and chatting while the store was full.

Only one register was open. As we pass, my sister who was with me saw the Manager, Kathy, look me up and down then proceed to say gross. It was very clear she was speaking about me because she decided to run away right before I could approach her about the situation. It is extremely disrespectful and rude for an employee, especially a manager, to speak so openly about another person negatively.

She should have been more considerate instead of trying to be a mean girl in front of her employee & other customers.

Edit to add: I bathe daily. I take care of myself and wasn't wearing sweats whatsoever.

I was wearing jeans, a top with a tie on the back that brought the shirt together, it would usually expose the back area a little but i wore a sports bra for that reason. my hair was brushed and in a bun. Granted i probably didn't look the best because i am a new mother.

It was also hot in the store so I could've been a little shiny looking but either way the Manager could have kept her comments in her mind.

I did absolutely nothing to the woman.

I was existing.

That was enough to make a snarky comment I guess. No one on this earth is above the next, she should be humbled because the only thing "gross" about the situation was her attitude and that store.

Stay away from Ollie's McKeesport PA every time I've gone in there past four times on a weekend in the afternoon you'll have a dozen people 8 9 or better people in check out line with buggies filled up one one cashier working every time where you stand there for 20 minutes to wait to check out there's no reason to have one person working when you have a half a dozen check out lines but nobody ever works at them what's the point of having him there they just want you in the store they don't care how long it takes to get their money and figure you'll stand there I won't go back today's was the last day last time I'll go out of my way somewhere else us even spend more money if that's what it takes if it cost me a couple dollars more so be it
